DraftLens privacy policy
This policy covers the DraftLens – DWG & DXF Viewer Chrome extension (“DraftLens”). In short: DraftLens does not collect, sell or share your personal data. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Information the extension handles
- DWG and DXF drawing files you open.
This information is used only to provide the extension's features on your device. It is never sent to the developer.
Storage
Drawings are processed in memory in your browser and are not stored. Your background preference is stored in Chrome extension storage. Images you save go to your Downloads folder. Uninstalling the extension removes its stored data.
Third parties
When you open a drawing from a web link, DraftLens downloads it directly from the site that hosts it. Nothing is sent to the developer or anyone else.
What we don't do
- We don't collect personal or sensitive information, browsing history, or usage data.
- We don't sell or transfer user data to third parties.
- We don't use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose.
- We don't use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
The use of information received from Google APIs and Chrome extension APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Children
The extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
