PlainPlan privacy policy
This policy covers the PlainPlan Android app (“PlainPlan”), a floor plan drawing app. In short: PlainPlan does not collect, sell or share any data. It has no account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no purchases. The app does not even have permission to use the internet.
Information the app handles
- The floor plans you draw: walls, rooms, doors, windows, furniture, text and measurements.
- Images you choose to trace over (for example a photo of a paper plan).
- Plan names and your settings (units, theme, snapping).
All of this stays on your phone, in the app's private storage. None of it is ever sent to the developer or anyone else.
Photos
When you add a trace image, Android's photo picker lets you choose a single image. PlainPlan only receives the image you pick and copies it into the plan's private folder. The app does not request access to your photo library, camera or files.
Sharing and backups
Plans leave your phone only when you choose to share, save or print them (PDF, PNG, DXF or a .plan backup file), and only to the app or place you pick. Importing a .plan file reads only the file you choose.
Storage and deletion
Deleting a plan in the app deletes its files. Uninstalling the app removes all its data. Since we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
What we don't do
- We don't collect personal or sensitive information.
- We don't sell or transfer user data to third parties.
- We don't show ads or use advertising IDs.
- We don't use analytics or crash-reporting services.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
